'I should be studying'
That's what I told myself when I started working on this. Barely a month back at school, and I was already getting distracted. My engineering friends told me that they had to code a representation of the 2048 game, so I decided to try it out for myself, just out of curiosity.
That was a really long night
I originally intended to just play around with ideas, but my curiosity was a little hard to ignore, so I ended up building the whole game that night, instead of doing the homework that I might have otherwise completed.
By morning, I'd built a functioning 2048 clone, complete with fancy colors. It wasn't perfect, but it worked! The only down side of this whole experience was that I had inadvertently created an additional, unnecessary distraction for myself.
