How we became one of five teams to win a $10,000 technology startup grant in Silicon Valley
While pursuing my work/study program at Workato and Stanford University, my friends and I formed a group to pitch for no-strings-attached startup funding.
The National University of Singapore produces more successful startups than any other school in Singapore, and is notorious for its strict screening processes for undergraduate companies. We won because we were relentlessly rigorous in crafting a persuasive pitch, and understood what the relevant judges were looking for.
We learned a lot from being serious about the pitch, and only expect our next presentations to get better :)
